Unfounded argument ....
It's like saying that when you go to a good restaurant it costs you more than if you make pasta, yogurt and an apple at home ....
It's a fact ... but you don't go to a good restaurant every day, just as you won't charge your car on a super fast terminal every day.
PS: don't bother telling me that the product is the same, I know it .... The service provided is just not the same.

You have to put things in perspective, homemade electricity, photovoltaic, costs less than that purchased : Mrgreen:

The approach adopted by Real Graphene is to replace the graphite electrode with an electrode covered with a thin layer of graphene and to modify the composition of the electrolyte. The CEO of the company Samuel Gong, explains that a 3000 mAh cell using their technology charges from 0 to 100% in 20 minutes, against 90 minutes on average with a conventional lithium battery.
Especially this battery has a record longevity: it can undergo up to 1500 charge cycles, against between 300 and 500 for current batteries. At equal charge power, these batteries also generate less heat, which, given the use of lithium, is rather a guarantee of safety. Finally, the approach chosen by Real Graphene has another major advantage: manufacturers of Li-Ion batteries will not need to change equipment to produce it.

Real Graphene is no longer at the prototype stage. The firm has already put on the market an external battery with graphene - which is also out of stock on Amazon US. Samuel Gong added that graphene batteries are also being tested by manufacturers whose names have not been released. So when can these batteries end up in smartphones? phonandroid.com/les-batteries-au-graphene-seraient-enfin-pretes-a-debarquer-dans-les-smartphones.html
Apparently this improved lithium battery is on track ... let's wait a little longer for the first users to pay the price. : Wink:

For the speed of charging, on paper it is enticing and unbeatable, indeed. Next, the size / capacity ratio, bof compared to an AA. Regarding the self-discharge curve, the Eneloops are great (the voltage is 1.20V, from memory). One can recharge 1500 times one of these new graphene batteries (on paper, again), against 2100 times (according to Panasonic) for an AA Eneloop. So for the moment the weight / size / lifespan / price ratio is clearly in favor of the high end of the rechargeable battery.

For my electronic cigarette, I need a single Lithium Ion of 3,7V of 3000mAh, with 35A in discharge to shoot up to 100W on 0,3ohm ... Otherwise as much to piss in a violin smoke level.
AA is for grandpa's remote control (sitting in his sofa in front of the TV).
On a radio-controlled plane, amha you never find it and you lost in the way the batteries that you would have spent the afternoon recharging

Strongly graphene.

LR06 AA 1,2V 2000mAh NI-MH (found in the recycling bin)

Versus

My only one (currently) 18650 3,7V 3000mAh (used for my cigarette and my diving torch)

I do not give the test result
