@janic

So janic, I think you have confused the subject, here it is rolled, and not to death the electric car, on which, when I produce figures, real, you are looking for something else, to circumvent the things that you believe to be exact , and which are false, unfortunately for you.

So, I'm not saying either that the "gus" who speaks, only says bullshit, because it's a clever mixture of truth and false ideas.

False ideas, which lead to saying things like, I will only take an EV if I can do 1000 km at 130, on the highway! although I will never do, but just in case....

For example... And from there comes the climbing on the drums, which for a large number of people is not useful.

Currently, over a rolling month, I am at around 4000 km/month, since mid-May, the car is not yet 18 months old, and I have exceeded 40 km.

So, already, with a modern EV, it's not 30 minutes to get to 80%, but like 18 minutes, for the very recent ones, or even less!

But it doesn't really make sense to say that, because with my ion, it takes me 15 minutes to get to 80%, and the ion has been around for more than 10 years, and I'm going to do like you, omit certain details. ...
But details, which I know, well.

Tell me, janic, (because I listened to the whole "gus"), for example, how much did a Volta battery weigh, with the energy it had, and now, for 10 times more, how much does it weigh? I would like real numbers.

The actual pollution figures, the construction of the EV, with its battery, and the "traffic", I gave them in "to death the EV", not figures with a wet finger, not some people say that...

Afterwards, whether it had been complicated one day of departure or back, back too, yes, that's for sure, like filling up with diesel on the highway!

Driving on the toll highway? I avoid as much as possible when I'm only with my wife, on the one hand, but on the other hand, I don't necessarily drive at 130 km/h, depending on the distance to be covered, or the charging point. ..

Often, depending on the road, it's between 110 and 120 km/h, but I'm not a novice in the field, and have already done more than 700 km on one trip, without difficulty! 700 km is significant, many for a departure on vacation are less than 500 km, and a lot of people do not go on vacation, or even on weekends....

And of course there will be juice taxes for EVs, not on, within 10 years, yes, and that's easier to do than the "gus" claims, because in EVs there's a lot of technology! and it even seems to me that it is already provided for in some VEs.

Already, with your phone, you activate the heating, the air conditioning remotely, you see the consos, you see the maximum speeds, you locate your car, etc...

Well, I'll stop there, Madame is waiting for me!

We can turn the problem another way:
— “If EVs are madness, what about VTs” (please don't answer here LOL) : Wink:

And go even further: “but where does the electricity we consume come from?” In this case we realize that we are running on nuclear power! And we come back to Ahmed evoking François Roddier (thermodynamics and society...) debt money, and fictitious values... Here the most reasonable solution seems to be the electric bike...
In short, indeed, if we talk about all that here, we will blow up this topic. Image

Holds a charge on a recent EV...

With 19 kWh, you drive about 100 km at 110-130 km/h, depending on the road, the traffic... And that was in 5 minutes, of course, it will drop a little later, but it can give an idea on 20 mn of pose, the 200-300 km, you can put back!

20 minutes of exposure is not crazy!

What is confusing is the call for power: 243 kW for ONE person in too much of a hurry to wait...

243 kW is the equivalent of more than 100 homes at peak electricity consumption! : Shock: : Shock: : Shock:

A home with an annual consumption of 5000 kWh (which is already above average) consumes an average of 570 W...243 kW is 426 times more!

And are we surprised that some electric cars set fire to the forest with such charging powers? : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol:

He's going to eat up the network for the next few years... : Lol:

It's not because it charges at 243 kW that there is so much call on the network!

You're right, it's definitely more! : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

Unless each terminal is connected to 800 300W solar panels and we only have the right to charge when the sun is out! : Mrgreen:

Well no, have you thought about buffer batteries?

When you have 28 chargers at the same time capable of giving 250 kW or more, that's a lot in one go!

But fortunately, not all of them draw 250 kW at the same time, some draw less than 50 kW, at the end of the charge... even at 50 kW, that's still a lot!

At least 50 km will be added, my wife left with one of my kids to go shopping....

At around 16 p.m., that's where the car is over a rolling month, with some routes done at 112-113 km/h indicated by waze...

Average consumption at less than 12 kWh per 100, which will be around 13-14 kWh at the outlet, per 100 km ....

So, are you going to pour acid on me too? : Mrgreen:

I would be very surprised if a charging station with 4 terminals at 250kW was equipped with a buffer battery with a capacity of 1 MW... : Mrgreen:

Why do you want there to be as much buffer as possible?

Bin for not (too much) draw on the network!
