A very accessible interview on exoplanets, the formation of planets and star systems: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7AyEpMau1o

An exoplanet is a planet that orbits another star than the sun. Located very far from us, it is only recently, thanks to advances in astronomy, that scientists have been able to locate and analyze the first exoplanets. How far from us are the closest? How do we detect them? What are their main characteristics? What do they teach us about our Earth and are there some that resemble it? Astrophysicist Anne-Marie Lagrange answers Karim Amellal's questions in Understanding.
