I don't think that's what DD meant.
It seems to me that he is rather worried about the excesses of this situation, which do not worry that he ...

I also told myself that this white jacket that I was put on every morning was tightening me up a bit, and what a pain to type on a keyboard!
More seriously, it seems to me that the psychiatric approach is really not the most appropriate to qualify this type of phenomena.

Following your logic, if I am able to go outside my body am I crazy?

It is enough to look just a little bit at each of the very many cases of NDE to realize that the scenes described during the decorporations are real and confirmed by the medical staff.sen-no-sen wrote:More seriously, it seems to me that the psychiatric approach is really not the most appropriate to qualify this type of phenomena.
And as always, the most detailed case is that of Pam Reynold.
It is not too much the cases of decorporation which block the scientific circles, it is rather the continuation of the stories which bothers them.
The decorporation is compatible with materialism, not the rest of the experience and I would say, both embarrass religions. (Materialist theory: The perceptions of the brain at twilight of its existence, like the stars in our universe, increase in an extraordinary way during this ephemeral instant, it records the vibrations which surrounds it and mentally recreates the scene and the impression of leaving the body ... we only use 10% of the brain blablabla ...)
The rest of the stories is of course the "pseudo" tunnel and the encounter with missing persons ... (and we lose 3/4 of the forum)

You show great openness!moinsdewatt wrote:Is there still that stupid thread?
Do not be as dogmatic, the Inquisition has been over for a very long time in Europe.
Intellectually, take a 5 minute look at the subject and we will be able to debate in a reasonable manner the points that you consider imprecise or even absurd.

If it's that "stupid" it must be easy enough to take the spiritual theory apart! (even if you have the right to laugh about it ...)
