Thanks for this info.

Which is added to what we started with: first a downturn, or even a decline in the life expectancy of "rich" nations, undoubtedly under the combined effect of junk food, chemistry in our environment, and stress. ..

To which will be added, for the weakest, the effect of poverty: less care, less hygiene, less "good food", less sport, less thalasso, less travel and movement for stay young, etc ...

There, the cumulative effect can be spectacular in the 25 years to come ...

A radical solution to the problem of pensions! Alas.

In addition, the oldest present have had a childhood with more mortality than at present, therefore more natural selection of the fragile little resistant children, who if not eliminated die younger than the less fragile, which shortens the lifespan in more, currently, after a deceptive extension of life, by transient suppression of natural selection only on the old, having been naturally selected children.

For all of us, and in particular Did67, my wife came across this slightly disturbing book that she bought:
Cholesterol, lies and propaganda
Why cholesterol lowering drugs are useless
by Dr Michel de Lorgeril
CNRS cardiologist and researcher
ed. Thierry souccar

how the industry manipulates doctors.

With scientific epidemiological evidence on diets, cholesterol little linked to mortality, and statins, manipulated by manufacturers, statins not effective but with serious side effects, even cancers.
It is not cholesterol, but lifestyle, our nutrition and living conditions.

This book gives scientific articles.

"Birkwald says the figures mean that raising the retirement age is nothing more than a big plan to cut pensions, which affects the lowest-income earners and those with the most jobs. painful."
It must be understood that the retirement age does not matter for those who run us - isn't unemployment among seniors a retirement that is badly named? - The only concern of the politico-financial sphere is to find all the means not to pay pensions, or to minimize the amounts received.
I note in my branch, while the people concerned still have the choice to leave more or less quickly (with the corresponding amount), that the majority stay as long as possible!
When people leave with an amount, you should not hope to revalue it in any way by resuming an activity (rule of the last 25 years)
It should not be forgotten that if people die with a small amount paid, the spouse will receive as a reversion as such, even less since it is calculated as a percentage!
In short, the reforms of these systems entail painful consequences for those who undergo them without having been glimpsed, except by those who initiated them, for their own benefit (or how to be put in beauty : Evil: )

just to understand what we're talking about, here's a little animation very easy to understand which explains how we calculate the life expectancy at the birth of a population.

It is a horror almost 1 in 4 of the diabetic teenagers, in the USA, that we are importing in France, to see some of our young people, trapped by this food to put in the trash: sodas, cocas, fake juice sweet fruit, overly fatty dishes and cakes, chemicals, etc.
