Re: Artificial Intelligence: innovations and novelties, ethical debate ...
In reality, all our senses being "imperfect" we only have a truncated vision of reality (our eyes see the table, not its infrared envelope, not its aromas...) Same for hearing, smell , in fact we live in a virtual and truncated universe, since always...

When I realized this, I was confused by this way the AI reproduced the same bugs as the human brain.
Or some other hypothesis, it confirms the theory that we live in a matrix computer simulation. Under this assumption, dreams being a kind of simulation within simulation, it is normal to find similarities between dreams and AI.
Totally agree...it's quite disturbing
At the same time that Matrix was released Passé Virtuel, with less budget, less advertising, but which made me think as much at the time as Matrix...see more because more "realistic" in technology (= more close to current technologies...)
To see if not already seen:
(too bad there is spoiler in this trailer...)
Well I dreamed of an electric paramotor last night but I still haven't seen my hands...however, the paramotor and the wing were fairly consistent with reality...
And about the dreams, the most disturbing that I have had, in my opinion, are those where you dream in the dream and at some point wake up in the dream (in the dreamlike equivalent of the room where you actually sleep) ...I did a few like that that I remembered (Inception what).
I always stayed at level N-1 (it's already quite disturbing really, I assure you!!)

Ok but what is the message there?
That our awakened senses would hide the fingers that we have extra?

Erratum: "not its atoms"

Ah, because we would have extra "fingers"...?
Well I can't read with my finger anyway, because my brain is sometimes not sure to remember to have one?
Growths or heaps of atoms in a biochemical soup, I don't mind...
Where do you talk about the general convention behind this definition? But does our brain's dream site know her?
Where then would it be that we do not see our fingers because of a memory prior to their biological concretization in our species?
I'm waiting for science to enlighten us

An AI made selfies of peoples of the past (finally the Zulu warriors still exist a little it seems to me?)
Always the same problems with the hands apparently... and other little things that are wrong...

They all have beautiful teeth...Except neanderthal....The evolved primate ate too many roots...

The only thing safe in the future. It is that there may chance that it conforms to our expectations ...

Deja vu, but a long time ago, I would watch it again on occasion.

False alarm clocks, a great classic, hence the interest of the reality test to avoid being tricked, and looking at your hands is much faster and more practical than spinning a top.
Great vintage selfies!

Macro wrote:They all have beautiful teeth...Except neanderthal....The evolved primate ate too many roots...
Yes I noticed that too: the teeth are no longer clones copied / pasted so there have obviously (already) been updates on the teeth! There is variety in the tooth too!
Hands should follow...
On the other hand, I don't know if you noticed: a Templar has a serious problem with his face...probably a sequel to a past fight? Actually no, looking closer, there are 3 (at least...)...

I haven't done it that often, I'd say 2 or 3 times that I remembered...
On the other hand, sorry but it's not my hands that I look at first when I wake up (in the 2 universes)! I'm not the only one I think, eh Macro! And on this point, no worries of dreamlike deformation!
So who gets into AI porn image creation to check if I'm "normal"?
