Damn ... shit ... You hear me people .... In the shit .....

Imagine they went looking for the stem cells of a psychopath ...
This is already the case with blood transfusions, transplants, vaccines. Foreign bodies are introduced into the body of individuals with their own biological specificities to which are added those of new implanted cells. Hence these changes in personality, values, taste observed in transplant recipients, vaccinated or transfused, but especially in transplant recipients given the large volume implanted and the anti-rejection system which keeps these grafts “intact”.
This AI grafting has, at least, the peculiarity of a relative simplicity of the machines which are only heaps of scrap that will end up in scrap, but not the following generations of transplant recipients, transfused and vaccinated.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to chat with the manager of a company specializing in AI, and in his words I had a hard time seeing how AI was so extraordinary and fundamentally different from a "old-fashioned" algorithm, well designed, which analyzes the problem well while remaining open to evolution ...

The difference is fundamental. AI is supposed to learn before being operational, while in traditional programming, you have to foresee all the possibilities and implement all the algorithmic branches. An AI is therefore supposed to have a minimal program, and it is enriched and modified according to the experience it will acquire, unlike conventional programs which are frozen. Unlike them too, two identical AIs at the start but having been subjected to different experiments will result in different treatments for the same entry.
Obviously, in practice, we are still quite far from the ideal, and the term "intelligence" is overused. The smallest program that is a little adroit in managing various more or less random phenomena is claimed to be "intelligent" by its promoters.

Grelinette wrote:...
More and more experts agree that Artificial Intelligence will benefit in the first place the powerful and well-off of this world! ...
Indeed, starting from the principle that the development of AI requires significant financial resources and very high-level specialists, the result is that the powerful and well-to-do will be the first to benefit from it. ...

These experts seem pretty nerdy to me. Any new technology benefits the richest first because the technology is expensive. It was the case with the radio, the telephone, the refrigerator, flat screens ... we see that all this "luxury" of yesteryear is now everywhere, completely banal. Because then comes the mass market. The first sales, to the richest, make it possible to obtain funds for investment, in particular in R&D to lower manufacturing costs, which is the wish of companies because they make much more profit on larger quantities at a lower price. but accessible for purchase by the general public, than on expensive high-tech equipment but reserved for a small number. And today, mass markets follow innovations very quickly, I doubt that AI will remain inaccessible to the general public for long. Still, it would have to be a reality because for the moment I only see drafts.

Will the Artificial Intelligent War take place?

There will be competition, not only commercial, but at the state level as well. Power, at the international level, comes from the ability to make the right decisions, militarily obviously, but in terms of governance, expert systems will surely also emerge. Faced with the mediocrity of the rulers of the planet, I see as positive the replacement of their brains by AI, ideally, because unfortunately it is a safe bet that "government" AIs will be biased to continue to serve power in place rather than serving the people.

still a great and imaginative dreamer. I have spent my entire professional career in the industry, even participating in inventing and producing these gadgets for the consumer society. These technological advances have only made consumers dependent on all these that must be paid, still paid, always paid with its race for more income at any anti-humanist price.
The interest of this virus is to set the record straight by showing that all these expensive tricks for modern slaves are not used to ensure the minimum to live and that a washing machine, a fridge, a broken down car without sufficient income becomes social handicaps when there is no longer enough to repair or change them and no AI will solve anything in this situation, nor in the social misery in crisis which has become the usual way of life.

A lot of selective sorting to be done, but unlike that of our waste, nothing is recyclable.

On time, you forgot it! what dazed!
Off topic => trash.
So all you have to do is put your prose there too and the question is settled

like another ABC clone, whatever it says is consumable and everything else trash. A navel-gazing also manifests!

It's cool as an app, but is it really the AI that makes it happen?

What will be even more surprising would be to be able to communicate with the animated image of his ancestor!
A priori, technology makes it possible to do this: the animated image is possible from an old photo of a colorized and animated ancestor, and making him speak and respond is also possible, as assistants such as that of google.

After that it will be another kettle of fish that the moving and talking image says interesting things, especially about her! But why not ?...
It's science fiction, but I can easily imagine an algorithm going to scan the web to find information about an ancestor and give coherent answers to questions asked.

Well, Grelinette, today we made a big haunch of woolly mammoth rolled up and cooked in a palm leaf!

You can ! the app doesn't ask you what family link you have with the photo you choose!

On the genealogy site (MyHeritage) we tried to colorize very old photos of our great-grandfather and the result is very interesting, but it's still just color. The animation should be even more unsettling.

The new function that seems to be available would therefore be the animation of the photo.
I'm sure the next available function will be speaking: you can talk with your photo! : Cheesy:
(The principle of attaching an algorithm that will look for information on the net to give consistent and appropriate answers is not absurd, but you still have to tell it who it is!).
