Coronavirus: the sale of alcohol prohibited in the Aisne, a first in France

The prefect of Aisne has taken an exceptional order to prohibit the sale of alcohol on the territory to avoid gatherings and family violence.

It is a first in France. Residents of Aisne can no longer buy alcohol since Tuesday, March 24. According to the newspaper L'Aisne Nouvelle, the prefect of Aisne Ziad Khoury has issued an order to prohibit the sale of alcohol throughout the departmental territory. The bars and restaurants being closed, it is the consumption of alcohol which should dry up in the department. Travel being limited and controlled, purchasing in other departments should be limited to cross-border workers.

“This is to avoid gatherings and especially intra-family violence, which could be the consequence of excessive alcohol consumption,” assures the prefect in the decree taken on Tuesday. The prefecture is also establishing a curfew for businesses that will have to close before 20 p.m.

Yes and no...

It is a taboo subject but alcohol is important in military victories ...

When you're drunk, you can aim a little worse but you poop less on it !!
