Recycling,
You have a problem, your answers are not adapted to the current "normal" world ...
In short, when a good number of people see that it is you who answers, they skip the post.
In short, by being believed, I would say that you do not give a damn, even if you are not mean.
Go see elsewhere please, with people from your philosophy, or other ...
A+
PSS If you want to get noticed for one reason or another, there are simpler and much more generous means; for example to sponsor a young student in India or Africa ...

Ouch! What do you want me to say : Mrgreen: : Cheesy: :D ...we'll say: so little.

Between medicine, chemistry, dietetics, biology, molecular biology, phytology, phytotherapy, psychology / psychiatry / hypnosis / autosuggestion, culture (and yes ... also) or even spirituality ... etc This are all disciplines that overlap on several levels.

... "secret" would perhaps be put in the plural.

So the more you dig, the more you notice that you don't know anything (or not much ...). What must be done is to encourage the acquisition of knowledge ... In this sense I would prefer the words "initiation" and "respect" to that of "secret" ... without for all that going into the occult sciences or want to steer the debate on these slippery grounds ... : Mrgreen:

After a short career in an entirely different field, I now take care of prevention and try to prioritize and understand the implications of the different fields between them (... if you want to know everything, the subject of this thread has always been my passion and I have also studied some types of medicine since the mid-60s, after seeing relatives die before being myself affected by the disease and then recovering after very long investigations => it did not exist many tracks at the time or relatively incomplete compared to today ... and still incomplete compared to tomorrow).

So health is an area of investigation where it is difficult to proclaim absolute truths ...

Another area that is little talked about: the influence of unconscious mental suffering (which often dates from an era so old that our memory cannot access it) causing chronic physical tensions that wear out the organs and can contribute to certain forms of cancer ( which usually have multiple causes) or cardiovascular or autoimmune diseases.
The most effective psychotherapy technique then consists in listening to the body and its tensions in order to access through this the emotions that these tensions help to repress.

Yes why not Cuicui. Could we suggest in these quite different cases to choose a therapist well among several possible practitioners ...?

Even then we enter into serious cases: oncology, cardiology : roll: multiple or even hereditary causes?

It would be very difficult to untie, if that is the case (... the cause) these "chronic physical tensions" which would have brought the subject (s) j'usque there and hope to cure it (s) only through (or not) psychotherapy. All of this takes time and it is not certain in many cases that the patient will survive the disease until the therapy is working to its full effect. All the more so since the fact that it depends primarily on the patient, the result is not guaranteed. Probably cases for the medicine of "sapper" par excellence, or even surgery if necessary ...

Watch out for autoimmune diseases, those which are specifically related to dietary deficiencies. It is always possible that "tensions" come to accumulate or that the patient is not receptive ... The fact remains that it is better to have someone to deal with."open" and cooperative ...

However, in a "Culture of prevention" well thought out though. Under the "Early prevention", discipline besides which does not concern ONLY the newborns and the children ... far from it, but perhaps it should be started there.

It is actually better to do this emotional cleansing work before a somatic illness begins. This approach complements the other forms of care.

Important anecdote on Hahnemann's work on homeopathy:
The latter, before going on horseback to these patients, by "shaking" these preparations, agreed to treat them under certain conditions; Conditions, which are similar to those of a placebo effect:
... Hahnemann himself spoke of "divine art" to designate homeopathy. He believed himself to be the agent of God's revelation of fundamental principles of nature.
Homeopathy was organized moreover in its beginnings like a church whose Organon constituted a kind of holy book. Some did not hesitate to organize pilgrimages to the birth village of Hahnemann. The latter demanded from his patients a total faith in homeopathy and forced them to read the Organon ...

Questions healers, I asked questions to my office colleagues.
I found two concrete cases.
The first one used a "bonesetter" to remove a wart ... a month later, she was gone.
The second colleague was her 3-year-old son, who had put his two hands on the glass of the wood stove. His two hands were glued to the glass. !
Result, the kid became infernal every time the doctor had to remove the dead skin… (I understand, the poor toddler) Following the work of the bonesetter, the kid began to sleep each time the doctor operated! .. .

There are indeed quite a few examples. It should also be seen that in this context of mechanisms expressed in fields related to psychology, it is clear that mental suggestion (as much exerted by others as that exerted on oneself) produces effects (which go far beyond the well-defined cases of "placebo / nocébo" effects).

Studies are currently being carried out in oral research. The patients being brought to concentrate on gingival treatments in order to stimulate the growth of gum in retraction (or in phase of doing it). And it produces certain results depending on the patient (even though it is generally accepted that a gum that loses its territory does not return to its initial state). What is curious is that it works all the better since the patient is not aware of all the issues of the "suggestion" mechanism as such and that of course, the answer is not the same. from one patient to another. (Understand who can).

Besides, Darwin's theory of evolution (if we admit it) could not exist without this type of interaction between thought, the necessities of the environment, and the brain which suggests and provides information on this what "must" the body ... But it is a personal opinion ..

: roll: pfff ... always reframe the debate to bring the discussion back to a completely unambiguous vision of things. And this by using an argument criticizing practices dating from the 18th century, saying that they would come under the domain of the "placebo" while it is even intellectually dishonest since that is not what the original text says ... : Mrgreen: I find that heartbreaking as much as it is the reflection of a completely narrow vision or even a form of trial of intent of a certain form of "field medicine". Too bad it was not understood that the framework of the debate goes far beyond this approach. Especially since trying to continue to want to always be right in such a complex context will end up reaching a form of ridicule ... so it would perhaps be better to be discreet 8)
