The century-old mystery. How to live longer?

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

Humor
to become a centenary it is simple, it is enough to collect a pension by the pension fund of France and to live in a country where one does not control the deaths ............

Did you know the concept of Blue Zone?

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zone_bleue_(long%C3%A9vit%C3%A9)

In his book, Buettner gives a list of nine lessons:

moderate and regular physical activity
a goal in life
stress reduction
calorie restriction
a diet based on plant-based foods
moderate consumption of alcohol, especially wine
a spiritual or religious commitment
a commitment to family life
a commitment to social life

These blue areas have in common to be sunny and airy areas. The diets are different but they have two aspects in common. The first is that they are based on plant foods, with meat, fish or cheese only in small quantities or during the holidays. The second is that they eat vegetables. As for taste, diets are very different. If the population of Ikaria has a diet close to the Cretan diet (vegetables, fish, white meat), the population of Sardinian mountain villages does not consume fish but meat, including 4 meat products.

The study published by Michel Poulain and Gianni Pes identifies the importance of a healthy lifestyle, at altitude, with physical activity beyond 80 years, without stress, with close family and social ties.

Humans age at three key times in their lives

Aging is not a linear and continuous phenomenon. This is what a team of American researchers has just uncovered. Our cells would undergo three phases of aging at specific times in our life. Explanations.

It has only been around fifteen years that we begin to understand the mechanisms of cellular aging. It is a predominant risk factor for several diseases such as Alzheimer's. The mechanisms of aging are therefore increasingly recognized as potential therapeutic targets.

A study by Stanford University in California, published in the scientific journal Nature Medicine, has just contributed to its understanding.

To do this, the researchers analyzed the blood plasma of 4263 patients aged 18 to 95 years. They then compared their proteome, that is, the levels of 3.000 proteins, by age.

The results show that the protein levels undergo abrupt changes, up or down at certain ages. "By deeply exploiting the aging plasma proteome, we identified rippling changes over the course of human life. These changes were the result of clusters of proteins moving in distinct patterns, resulting in the emergence of three waves of aging." , write the researchers, reports Medisite.

"Furthermore, although we have known for a long time that measuring certain proteins in the blood could provide information about a person's state of health, such as lipoproteins for cardiovascular health, for example, we had not realized realizes that the levels of so many different proteins changed markedly with age, ”says Tony Wyss-Coray, professor of neurology and neurological sciences at Stanford Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.

According to him, these changes in protein levels migrating from body tissues to the blood are markers of aging.

This study therefore proves that aging is not a long and continuous process, but takes place in three distinct phases: at 34, at 60, then at 78. In addition, according to the researcher, if we target 373 proteins during blood tests we could even precisely define the age of a person.

These discoveries raise the possibility of one day developing a blood test capable of measuring how our cells age, and of anticipating or even treating age-related diseases.

"For quite some time now, many laboratories have been trying to assess the biological age of individuals. This research falls within this framework. [...] This provides access to a certain number of interesting markers for perhaps - in the future to be able to predict the biological age of individuals, more precisely. And above all to try to identify what could define a prognosis for the appearance of certain pathologies which are related to age. This is particularly important. and the study was missing, "says Jean-Marc Lemaitre, research director at INSERM and deputy director of the Institute for Regenerative Medicine and Biotherapies in Montpellier, interviewed by France Culture.

"This also opens up a new field of research for many laboratories working in the field and which will be able to focus on slightly different age groups in the analyzes and refine the study of markers a little bit. It's still something very interesting for the entire scientific community, ”he concludes.

To live older, you have to become a vegan, not to be vaccinated (NEVER), not to smoke, not to drink, not to laugh (laughter is the devil), to reject sex (sex is the devil ) make prayers of good health and / or long life and be treated only with plants and homeopathy. : Mrgreen: 120 years insured!
