A SHIELD AGAINST COVID-19

MedinCell made public on April 6, 2020, its Covid-19 project (mdc-TTG) aimed at developing a long-acting injectable ivermectin treatment to protect people not infected with Covid-19 and thus break the transmission channel. This treatment could play a significant role in the management of the Covid-19 pandemic, by allowing many people, especially the most exposed and those most at risk, to be protected.

Ivermectin is a molecule already widely prescribed in several indications. Since the start of the pandemic, clues have been piling up as to its potential effectiveness against Covid-19.

They were 58,4% to present such symptoms among the 102 subjects of the untreated control group.
