Resistance of the Sars-COV2 virus: how to kill or disinfect the Covid-19 coronavirus? Freeze it or burn it?

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

It lasts more than 9 hours on the hands ... finally the skin ...

https://www.lunion.fr/id196692/article/ ... ur-la-peau

Japanese scientists carried out experiments on the skin of corpses, which would have been used for skin grafts. By comparison, the flu virus survived for less than two hours.

"These results indicate that SARS-CoV-2 has significantly higher stability on human skin than that of the influenza A virus," explained the study's authors.

The importance of having good hygiene
Another revelation, when mixed with mucus from samples of the respiratory tract, the coronavirus lives about 11 hours compared to 1,69 hours for the influenza virus.

The authors conclude: “This study shows that SARS-CoV-2 may present a higher risk of transmission by contact than [the influenza A virus] because the former is much more stable on human skin than the former. They thus contradict other studies which have shown that the transmission of Covid-19 occurs largely via aerosols and droplets.

I believe that the best way to kill the coronavirus ... is to turn off your computer and smartphone ... : Twisted:

Too bad there is no link to the study in question ????

Coronavirus "can survive 28 days" on phones and banknotes

Researchers have found that the cooler the temperatures, the higher the survival rate of SARS-CoV-2. (we already knew ... for a long time ...)

The coronavirus has definitely not finished revealing all its secrets. According to a study by the Australian National Science Agency (CSIRO), the virus can, in a cool and dark medium, survive up to 28 days on surfaces such as phones and banknotes, according to a study by the Australian National Science Agency (CSIRO).

Researchers from the CSIRO's disease prevention department found that the higher the temperatures, the lower the survival rate of SARS-CoV-2, the agency revealed on Monday. They discovered that at 20 degrees, SARS-CoV-2 is "extremely tough" on smooth surfaces, such as phone screens. It can survive 28 days on glass, steel and polymer banknotes. At 30 degrees this survival rate drops to 7 days, and at 40 degrees it is only 24 hours..

A much longer delay

On porous surfaces like cotton, the virus survived shorter, up to 14 days at the lowest temperature and less than 16 hours at the highest. Compared to previous studies, which had shown that the coronavirus could survive for up to four days on non-porous surfaces, this time is "significantly longer", according to the Journal of Medical Virology. (WHY HOW ?)

Trevor Drew, director of the Australian Center for Disease Prevention, explained that the study involved drying samples of the virus on different materials before testing them with an "extremely delicate" method. It made it possible to find traces of living virus capable of infecting cell cultures. However, "it does not mean that this amount of virus could infect someone", he said on the public channel ABC

Humidity harms the virus

However, if a person "careless with these materials touched them, then licked your hands or touched your eyes or nose, you could get infected more than two weeks after they were contaminated". Trevor Drew expressed reservations in particular because this study was conducted with fixed levels of virus, probably corresponding to the peak of an infection, and in lack of exposure to ultraviolet light that can quickly damage the virus.

The humidity was kept at 50%, according to the study, because increased humidity is also bad for the virus. According to CSIRO, the virus is thought to spread mainly in the air, but more research is needed to better understand how it is transmitted by surfaces. Trevor Drew recalled that the main message is that "infected people are much more contagious than surfaces"This may nevertheless help explain why, even when there are no more contagious people, (the epidemic) sometimes returns even if the country is considered virus-free," he said. highlighted.

This is what should be remembered from this study (which contradicts the previous ones ... the resistance is longer ... mutation? Another strain?)

China ordered the systematic disinfection of mail from abroad. The authorities' hypothesis is that the Omicron variant was introduced by a letter arriving from Canada on which traces of the virus were found.
