Does covid vaccination make positive for anti-covid tests?

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

well when the number of occurrences deviates from several sigmas what you would expect by mere chance. So we must first estimate how many cases there would have been if it were a coincidence.

And it is also necessary to estimate the "sigma", ie the amplitude of the statistical fluctuations around this value to know if the observed difference is significant or not. And there is a very simple rule and very little known despite its simplicity: the average statistical deviation around an average value of N is simply root (N), this is the "sigma". This means that if you wait for 100 cases on average, in fact most of the time you have between 90 and 110 cases. 120 is very rare (two sigmas), 150 is almost excluded (5 sigmas). So if you wait for 100 cases and you observe 110, then you cannot deduce anything from it, it is compatible with chance, whereas if you wait for 100 cases and you observe 150, then yes, it has happened. passed something, and you have to look for what.

If you expect 10, the sigma is 000, so you expect between 100 and 9900 etc ...

So the difference between an expected value N1 and a measure N2 is significant if N2- N1 is clearly greater than root (N1) + root (N2).

It's quite simple to apply, you still have to do it ...

Despite the vaccination campaign which has been in full swing since the beginning of January, the coronavirus is continuing its path within nursing homes. Five retirement homes in Tarn-et-Garonne are currently considered to be clusters.

Despite all staff's efforts to try to limit the spread of the epidemic, the Saint-Jacques de Grenade retirement home is in turmoil. For the past two weeks, a cluster has been declared (read our previous editions) in this EHPAD (establishment for dependent elderly people) which has 165 residents. The number of contaminations is gradually increasing, as expected the director Didier Carles, who has the merit of playing transparency. As of January 23, 12 residents and six staff members had been infected ...

Cluster in a nursing home in the Aisne, 27 deaths and an "uncommon" variant identified

According to the ARS, there is no data allowing to say whether the variant detected in Aisne is more transmissible, nor to determine its degree of virulence compared to the other variants.

The Montreuil district hospital (CHAM) deplores two outbreaks of Covid-19 contamination in two EHPADs which it manages: Les Myosotis and les Pléiades located in Campagne-lès-Hesdin. "The situation is under control" ensures the management.

uh but not everyone was vaccinated from day one!

do you know when it started and at what rate we vaccinated, in the establishments concerned by the clusters?

Yes no but you don't understand, Totophe, it's a question of sigma ... the rest who cares. It all works perfectly, on paper and for some it is more than enough. : Mrgreen:

I hallucinate what tissue of lies !!

Can you test positive for Covid-19 after being vaccinated?

Very rare cases of positive tests after vaccination are often related to an infection too close to the injection of the vaccine. Finally, vaccines, although very effective, do not protect 100% against infection.

A serological test detecting antibodies will be positive with an effective vaccine !!!

Isn't there a biologist or a doctor who can explain it to them? Or is it me who am stupid?

in principle, if a vaccine produces antibodies, it is because it is .... positive! Bingo !!!!
But beware (strangers) there are positive, positive and positive not positive ....! : Shock:
hey, the champion in statistics, we are still waiting for you on vaccination and health : Evil:

they must be talking about PCR tests, testing the RNA of the "live" virus, not serological tests, well I hope !!
