Covid-19: the University of Lille confirms the creation of a virucidal mask https://www.lavoixdunord.fr/932012/arti ... e-le-covid
“While waiting for the end of the vaccination campaign, health protection is critical and the current masks are showing their limits. Since the arrival of the British, South African and Brazilian variants of Covid-19, effectively reducing transmission involves combining vaccines, barrier gestures and single-use masks with very high protective performance against biological risks ”, announces this Monday the University of Lille.

Still according to the University of Lille, “these exclusive masks made in France from also French technologies and materials meet the health need for maximum protection thanks to their capacity to deactivate the pathogens present in the droplets and the finest particles of flow of respiration ”. The availability (initially for nursing staff) of this CE-certified medical device should be officially announced around mid-February.
