Hey, calm down ... is it my fault?

When we copy paste an info we quote the exact source!
I suspect that I could find the info elsewhere ...

Cite the sources, at the time it was called the netiquette ! Not sure that millennials know this word ...

Even if with social networks it is more the case everyone stealing or appropriating the ideas of others and it is the one who will have the biggest mouth who will have the most "success" (lol) ...

When we know the number of infected we know the number of dead at the end. The distribution by day does not matter.

The important thing is this:
The total number of confirmed cases in Italy rose to 69,176 from a previous 63,927, an increase of 8.2%, in line with Monday's growth rate, the Civil Protection Agency said.

We would be very happy in France to have only 8,2% more patients per day ...... since we double every 4 days.
Getting out of the hellish exponential is already very good.

If you do not know the detection policy, not sure that it really gives you an idea, at least in comparison between countries.

If you do not know the detection policy, not sure that it really gives you an idea, at least in comparison between countries.

For a given country and a fairly stable number of tests like in Italy today, that gives a fairly precise figure.

I agree that we cannot compare between countries: number of tests / capacity in beds / different ages.

This is what we concluded recently: with different screening and counting methods, there is no point in comparing countries ...

On the other hand, we can compare the evolution of the curve of each country ... according to the national policies engaged ...

Figures on March 23 in France

24/1 to 18/2 - 11 proven cases
March 4 - 285 proven cases - 4 deaths *
March 5 - 423 proven cases (+138) - 5 deaths (+1)
March 6 - 613 proven cases (+190) - 9 deaths (+4)
March 7 - 949 proven cases (+ 336) - 11 deaths (+2)
March 8 - 1126 proven cases (+ 177) - 19 deaths (+8)
March 9 - 1412 proven cases (+ 286) - 30 deaths (+ 11)
March 10 - 2 confirmed cases - 039 deaths (+ 44)
March 11 - 2281 proven cases (+ 242) - 48 deaths (+ 4)
March 12 - 2876 proven cases (+ 595) - 61 deaths (+ 13)
March 13 - 3 proven cases (+ 661) - 785 deaths (+ 79)
March 14 - 4 proven cases (+ 499) - 838 deaths (+ 91)
March 15 - 5 proven cases (+ 421) - 922 deaths (+ 161)
March 16 - 6 proven cases (+ 633) -
March 17 - 7 proven cases (+ 730) - 1 deaths
March 18 - 9 proven cases (+ 134) - 1 deaths (+ 404)
March 19 - 10995 proven cases (+ 1) - 861 deaths (+ 372)
March 20 - 12 proven cases (+ 612) - 1 deaths (+ 617)
March 21 - 14 proven cases (+ 559) - 1 deaths (+ 847)
March 22 - 16 proven cases (+ 018) - 1 deaths (+ 459) - 674 healings
March 23 - 19 proven cases (+ 856) - 3838 deaths (+ 860) - 186 healings (+ 2207)
March 24 - 22 proven cases (+ 302) - 2 deaths (+ 446) - 1 healings (+ 100)*

In bold the days of doubling the number of deaths based on March 4.

We are always in a rhythm of about a doubling every 4 days
The 1000 deaths have been clearly exceeded today
We did not reach a strict doubling but except for 24 I still noted it as such by adding a small star to indicate this freedom.
Will the figures for healings begin to become significant?
That's the question of the day
To be continued

FYI Germany 32 proven cases - 781 deaths - 157 cures
The gap seems staggering UNLESS we extrapolate
7 times fewer deaths for 32 confirmed cases
This would give for France 22 confirmed cases detected x 302 = 7 confirmed cases and therefore 133 infected and apparently contagious cases "in the wild" but hopefully contained

As a reminder, the number of attributable influenza deaths in France: 2017: 16 - 000: 2018 - 14: 000

And almost 90 cases per 100 inhabitants in the Grand Est (most of which is concentrated in Alsace ...)

Tomorrow the 100 per 100 mark will probably be crossed ... or one inhabitant in 000 infected ...

In Alsace this is surely already the case ...

Someone have the figures by department?
