I don't really agree with this graph, the abscissa of which depends on the testing policy ... is it the same everywhere? If some regions test more then it is not worth much ...

Sinon

If so the (only?) Interesting thing it does say is that the covid appears to have geographic severity?

more exactly, it depends on the variation of the testing policy, since it measures a relative variation in the number of cases. It doesn't matter if one department tests half as much as another, but keeps this ratio constant. It is more annoying if he starts to change and adopt more tests (this is the case if we launch a massive screening for example). But statistically, I don't think this is the case for many regions, so statistically it is sure that we are increasing again, and it is justified to tighten the screw, especially with the arrival of the new variant (so I wouldn't be surprised if it leads to a new reconfinement in a month ...)

We can see here this last month, that the cases are well decorrelated from the tests https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rozie ... dence.jpeg ...
This must be due to the new rapid tests which must be confirmed by a PCR.

The correlation with the tests could easily be explained by the fact that you waited until you have symptoms before taking a test, in the vast majority of cases. : Wink:

I really like Kahn more and more: https://rmc.bfmtv.com/emission/un-recon ... 29962.html

A re-containment is "totally essential and inevitable" according to Professor Axel Kahn on RMC

Yet he is a fervent defender of vaccines ...
