Shopping: CORONAVIRUS contagion through hands and surfaces in stores and businesses?

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

Yes yes you are right ... continue like that especially ... do not change anything!

You gut others when they cite mainstream articles and not published scientific sources and you do exactly the same ... worse when you are asked for the source studies you are not even able to provide them?

Too funny...

Many specialists have proven their mediocrity to us during this crisis ... so good ...

Otherwise yes I can read a table or a viral load inhibition curve ... thank you for taking me for a jerk! : Evil:

we ask you for the source studies you are not even able to provide them?
There are 3 of them cited in the article, including the one you cited.
The article answers very well this question of persistence on surfaces.
For Anne Goffard, virologist at the Lille University Hospital and teacher at the Lille Faculty of Pharmacy, finding traces of viral RNA on a surface is not the same as finding active viruses. She uses the following metaphor: when you remove a baguette from a table, if there is any flour left, it doesn't mean there is still a baguette! ...

When we speak of a persistence of the virus in the air for 3 hours, it is therefore a question of persistence in aerosols. To this question, the answers are mixed. It should be noted, first of all, that almost all respiratory diseases, such as influenza or tuberculosis, are "airborne" diseases, and thatthe published results are, once again, the result of laboratory experiments, therefore quite far from the real conditions of the immediate environment of an infected person.
Many specialists have proven their mediocrity to us during this crisis
Yes Peron .., Raou .., Toussa .., Montagn ..... I am interested in the majority who do their job conscientiously. The thugs are easily recognized.

I don't know how you reason, but on a forum it is mutual aid the base ... It hurts you to put the 2 links of the 2 other studies and possibly extract, as I did, the most interesting information ??? Or do I have to give you the definition of self help?

ps: the one I am basing myself on is talking about an active virus and not an RNA trace !!

Is that so? I rather have the impression that for the majority, it's a place where you can let off steam by hitting on others without risking a slap in return, and where you can say anything on condition of anonymity !!

It is part of the excesses that ... and it seems to me that you are yourself part of this majority that you denounce ...

Sorry to have to remind you of the "basics" ... the basis of a forum it is the exchange of information, therefore mutual aid ...

It's a bit borderline as a metaphor ... since we're talking about living organisms there ... a virus does not crumble (I don't even know if it poops! : Mrgreen: ) ... So either it is alive (therefore potentially dangerous) or it is dead (and we only find traces of RNA ..) ...

Between the 2, there is probably * a transitional phase where the virus begins to weaken ... This explains, as I suggested a few days ago, perhaps the less virulence of the virus in was from a health point of view ... because it was weakened by the outside temperatures ... So it enters weakened in the organisms ... while remaining however detectable in the tests.

* I don't know, it's just an idea like that. It is speculative but it deserves to look into it ... and if it is probable, that presumes nothing good for the winter!

On the other hand, it could be a hope for an innovative treatment ... instead of a possible vaccine ...

attention "a virus", they are in fact billions of different viral particles! Obviously if there is a mutation, it will only affect one of them (or some by chance), but the others have no reason to mutate. For a strain to spread, it has to be more contagious than the others, but that doesn't kill them all at once. There is no reason for remote areas to see a drop in virulence in a coordinated fashion ...

On the other hand, behavior changes can be done collectively and involve entire countries, but it is not the virus that mutates, it is people who are more or less protecting themselves.

Uh not sure to understand everything ...

I was just talking about the "global" virulence of the virus which could be weakened by the outside temperatures ...

People who are currently diagnosed positive were most likely infected during the heatwave of early / mid August ... and as hospitalizations do not "follow" (so much the better) ... there is necessarily a factor that makes the virus is less "nasty" ...

I'm just asking the question if it could be the outside temperature. That's all.
