Shopping: CORONAVIRUS contagion through hands and surfaces in stores and businesses?

How to stay healthy and prevent risks and consequences on your health and public health. occupational disease, industrial risks (asbestos, air pollution, electromagnetic waves ...), company risk (workplace stress, overuse of drugs ...) and individual (tobacco, alcohol ...).

Spray with hypochlorous acid.
The machine is not very expensive (<20 €). We put a teaspoon of kitchen salt with tap water, plug into a USB charger for 10 minutes and presto.

I can confirm that it is effective: this summer I was bitten by a patou (shepherd dog for sheep). The infection did not pass to drugstore disinfectants, and with the hypochlorous acid sprayed on the wound, it was completely gone within 2 days. The only downside: it prevents the wound from bleeding, otherwise, as it is slightly salty, it does not scar.

Unlike bleach, it doesn't stain. This principle is used in swimming pools with a salt chlorinator.
We spray all packaging before putting it in the fridge.
It also makes it possible to disinfect the door handles and why not the caddy.

What matters is its ability to infect. In addition, very weak inoculum compared to 10 minutes without a mask, bombarded with postilions by a contaminated person. : Wink:

bleach is sodium hypochlorite, which is exactly the same as what you get by electrolyzing salt. (in acidic pH it gives hypochlorous acid, but be careful if it is concentrated -> release of asphyxiating chlorine. Never mix concentrated bleach with an acid (descaling agent)).

bleach stains because it discolors the pigments by oxidizing them (so "light" stains), but it's exactly the same active ingredient, it's just that your thing is more diluted that's all.

Asshole dog : Mrgreen:

According to wikitruc:
When Escherichia coli is exposed to hypochlorous acid, it loses viability in less than 100 ms due to the inactivation of many vital systems17,18,19,20. Hypochlorous acid has a declared LD50 of 0,0104 to 0,156 ppm21, at 2,6 ppm it causes complete inhibition of bacterial growth within 5 minutes14. However, the concentration of HClO required to obtain a bactericidal property is very dependent on the initial bacterial concentration10.

it works at very low doses.

Hypochlorite ion carries a negative electric charge, while hypochlorous acid does not carry any electric charge. Hypochlorous acid moves quickly, able to oxidize bacteria in seconds, while hypochlorite ion can take up to half an hour to do the same.

It's faster. And it only costs the price of salt to use.

Pov cons of journalist Franceinculture who can not even find or read a table from a published scientific study (not bogus this one) ... must I give you back the table or will find it all alone?

Come on, I'm too good (too stupid):

To claim this is criminal:

In the 12:30 p.m. newspaper, Tara Schlegel gave a brief recap of the transmission methods:

Infected droplets do not spread beyond a meter, experts say, that's an average distance. In any case, the virus does not float in the air, it has been proven, which is why health authorities believe that a surgical mask worn by both the patient and the person in front of him may be sufficient. Outside the human body, the virus remains infectious for only a few hours. On a so-called inert surface, such as a stainless steel bench, it persists in 4 and 6 hours, depending on the temperature; The cooler and humid the more the virus survives. Within 4 to 6 hours, when you touch an infected surface and then bring your hand to your mouth, you can get sick. This is why it is important to wash your hands for at least 30 seconds with soap or to use a hydro-alcoholic gel.

Tara Schlegel is a crook and deserves criminal justice!

Between 4-6 hours and more than 4 days, i.e. 96 hours, there is a difference ... Stainless Steel column !!

This is not the reality : roll:
... the first, a meta-analysis published in February in the British journal The Journal of Hospital Infection, the second, being a prepublication on the Medrxiv site of an American team from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious diseases. It should be noted from the outset that the purpose of these two studies is above all to warn the hospital environment and the researchers who manipulate the virus in the laboratory - who are in close contact with infectious agents - on different surfaces, in order to minimize the risks of contamination and nosocomial infections.

A new study, published Tuesday in The New England Journal of Medicine, for its part compared the permanence of SARS-CoV2, the virus at the base of the COVID-19 epidemic, with that of SARS-CoV1, to the origin of the SARS epidemic in 2003. If we combine the results of these three studies, we arrive at orders of magnitude similar to those announced in the famous diagram, namely a persistence of the virus in aerosols for up to 3 hours , on copper for up to 4 hours, on cardboard up to 24 hours, and on plastic and steel for up to 2 or 3 days.

To obtain these results, the researchers projected water droplets loaded with viruses with small aerosol cans on the various surfaces. It should be noted that under these experimental conditions, the projected viral load is very high. In the study described in Journal of Hospital Infection, up to half a milliliter of pure 100 million copy viral particles were used to study the stability of the virus, which according to Samira Fafi-Kremer, head of the virology laboratory of the Strasbourg University Hospital that we interviewed does not reflect reality at all. In the same article, if we look at the table, we see that below 10 particles, the virus resists less than 000 minutes, regardless of the surface. https://www.franceculture.fr/emissions/ ... il-partout

You mourn me and you are saddening and wearing out! You are quoting a general public newspaper, I am quoting you from a published study ...

So send the study links please

What is the viral concentration of a drop of saliva from a patient?

Talking about "Pure viral particles" ... indicates the author's amateurism ...

When will the Aryan virus? : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

There is virus and there is dead virus ... that's all ...

In the same article, if we look at the table, we see that below 10 particles, the virus resists less than 000 minutes, regardless of the surface.

What table?

If you are able to decipher it better than a virologist, bravo !, I prefer to trust a specialist

The article I cited last is from Nicolas Martin, who is not used to talking about salads : roll:
