Trouble? Between June 9 and June 22, there were 5 deaths from COVID in Switzerland.
(they use data provided by Johns Hopkins University, instead of official data)

False.

Which makes 17. But not 35.

Public chat https://covid-19-schweiz.bagapps.ch/fr-2.html
We find that 5 deaths during this period.

It is strange that the press release gives 17 deaths and the source data, 5.

Well yes of course! All healthcare establishments around the world (and in particular Swiss establishments) have signed an agreement with Johns Hopkins University requiring them to transmit all of their data in real time ....
I am told that even the French Navy was obliged to go there for the Charles de Gaulle cases! It's a shame!
And that if by chance there was a death at home in such or such country, the obligation applies by default for the family, at the risk of being sued by Johns Hopkins University.
Anyway....

It's super interesting to know if between 9/06 and 22/06 there were 5, 17 or 35 deaths in Switzerland, we thank France Soir for making our neurons work.
There were 1299 in one day according to official statistics yesterday in Brazil.

this is what is in the big table of ourworldindata which collects all the data of all the countries, every day, (4 Mo)

https://github.com/owid/covid-19-data/r ... -data.xlsx

for Switzerland for this period, we have 17 deaths.

But there is a peak of 12 deaths on June 11 that does not show up on Pedro's chart. I think that these are "grouped" deaths which were announced that day but which came from a specific place like EHPAD, but which had taken place before: 12 suddenly that's a lot. Considering the pace of the other days, the actual number is more likely to be 5.

We are in the era of “big data” these raw data were available for a time here:
