There may be some who know xkcd.
This is the infographic of the day, it concerns the US, but it is extremely informative, and the sources from which the infographic is drawn are dipos.

Like what a 24 carat WC is as expensive in 2010 as it was in 1980, a velociraptor is worth 2M $ and a suitcase filled with 100 $ banknotes has lost value since the 70 years.
There is also a pyramid of ages with their annual income (comparison 1984 / 2009) that I find highly representative.

PS: it's in English, but I think not too difficult to understand.
