In this case there is no "real" problem, just a problem of attachment to deadly conventions.
Unfortunately, it is not me who manifests the greatest attachment, nor who has the most power over letting go of this collective attachment.
It is especially "at the top" that it happens.
Of course, the moment may come when the base regains power over the course of events. It's called a revolution.

except that at the base, she goes down to the street when it becomes too expensive to put gasoline in her car, to be able to continue taking it, precisely, and she complains of not being able to buy a Christmas present for her children .

No one has ever demonstrated to lower their standard of living, and for a very good reason: it's that if that's what you really want, it's very easy to do yourself; there is no need to demonstrate. The problem only arises when you want to maintain it, or even raise it.

and the bouzo in its usual delirium. There are those who eat too much and right next to them who are starving or almost. It is easy to reduce when you already have an abundance, but difficult to reduce when you have nothing, or almost nothing, and rising for this last category is a vital necessity, even based on many artifices. current like the automobile.

that's exactly what I'm saying: nobody revolts to lower their standard of living.

this is where lies the idiocy of such a reflection! The number of people on the edge of poverty and who live in anguish about how to end the month, is much more important than asking whether the haves are willing to better distribute the goods of this world, without living to the credit of this one!
When it comes to Christmas toys, it is irrelevant, since more and more families are dispersed in their country and this automobile remains one of the means of bringing them together.

I don't see how that contradicts what I said: nobody revolts to lower their standard of living.
