At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister announced the strengthening of ecological taxation

Dominique de Villepin raised the possibility of a truck tax to rebalance traffic, particularly in the Alps. He plans to triple tax credits in 2007 for the energy renovation of old buildings.

Uh ... Tripling with current rates it means that you are paid to install renewable energy equipment (like pellet stoves since there are already € 1500 and they cost 2 to € 3000) ??? :D
