France: 3.3% inflation in May !!! Help!

by Christophe » 11/06/08, 10:58

+ 4,7% on energy prices in a month ... and 3,3% compared to the year.

I dream...we are the only traders to maintain our prices since 2006 or what? "Fortunately" that real estate is not counted in theinflation eh ... and say that the euro is currently strong ...

What will it be when it drops? The minimum wage at 3000 €? : Shock:

Fuels alone recorded an increase of 4,8% in May (after + 1,4% in April), an increase of 17,9% compared to May 2007.

Toutafé Christophe!

Many people lose sight of the fact that there are other means of food than being guided by mercantile consumption and directly indexed to oil ...

The minimum wage at 3000 €? You can dream, it's rather the disappearance of the minimum wage which is advanced with the new measures.

The government is doing what is necessary to counter the rise in prices ...
It will authorize more supermarkets everywhere, in order to hope for a 0,5% drop in prices by 2009 (or 2010?).
And as a consequence of definitively liquidating small local shops ...

Here it makes me think of this small producer of organic milk on the side of Lyon who made the connection to the complete distribution network by installing an automatic organic milk distributor on a parking lot.

Price: 1,2 € the liter for BIO if I remember correctly.

Great idea to reproduce!

Well calculate over 3 years (for example) how much do an inflation of 3% per month ... come on I did it for you:

At equivalent purchasing power € 1000 becomes € 2898 after 36 months with monthly inflation of 3%.

Attention I just noticed that inflation of 3.3% is reported for the year (thank you Rulian), the title of the article in the NouvelObs and of the subject can therefore lead to confusion.

However, for energy we have 4.2% over a month.
And finally at 0.5% inflation per month we would find € 1200 after 36 months.

Fortunately it is not 3% / month !!! 8)

Finally on some products, we are not far :frown:
