Brightness lighting a CFL GU10 E14

by Christophe » 15/01/08, 16:21

During the brightness / voltage tests of thevariable GU10 energy saving bulb (see this topic: https://www.econologie.com/forums/ampoule-ec ... t4639.html ) I took the opportunity to draw the curve of rise in luminosity after ignition, completely cold bulb of course.

Hypotheses :

- bulb completely cold when starting
- Y axis at 110% to better see the bearing

a) GU10 11W variable bulb : https://www.econologie.com/shop/ampoule- ... p-126.html

Image

- after 100 seconds the maximum brightness is reached
- bulb set to 100% brightness of course

b) E14 spot 9W bulb : https://www.econologie.com/shop/ampoule- ... p-126.html

Image

- after 180 seconds the maximum brightness is reached
- the trend of the curve is different from the other model: the internal electronics are therefore a priori different
- sharp increase in brightness between 60 and 120 seconds (ie the 2nd minute).

Measurements made with this luxmeter placed perpendicular to 80 cm from the bulb:

ps: I will test with a 9W model as well.
