Exact !

Ah damn, I had not checked that a google search did not lead to the goal!

So for all those who read, these are "briefs of counters" collected by Jean-Marie Gourio. There are some that I find mind-blowing ...

I had to note this one because it is so big:

you are right, but in reality it is one in two: either you are affected or you are not.

So who is it ? No right to cheat and delve into other subjects! : Mrgreen:

Well in fact he has a one in two chance of being stupid, since either he is or he is not : Mrgreen: .

absolutely, do you know of another possibility?
His math teachers must have had a hard time with him !!
not even! Do you know how to play dice. even if you have thousands of dice, you will not be able to go beyond 6 per die. Assumptions, forecasts, theories have no value on reality. Not all victims of vaccination or poisoning were statistically so, but precisely and only in their flesh, not those of millions, billions of others! Clearly one in two indeed.

Is that so ? Knowing how to foresee and anticipate, project yourself into the future, this is certainly what distinguishes man from other living beings ... and sorry to contradict you but sometimes (often) it works. All projects are forecasts, anticipations, theories ...

I am not sure that my cats say to themselves in the morning when they wake up "well I am going to go hunting today" ... but I am not 100% sure because it is certain that they have a conscience. ..

Absolutely when it comes to things simple enough as for machines, but not for living things
Even our current forecaster no longer dares to forecast beyond that… we don't know anything about it! even in the very short term, it no longer works!
and sorry to contradict you but sometimes (often) it works. All projects are forecasts, anticipations, theories ...
Yes again, for material, not for living things or can you give a concrete example?
I am not sure that my cats say to themselves in the morning when they wake up "well I am going to go hunting today" ... but I am not 100% sure because it is certain that they have a conscience. ..
Like us, in the morning we do not know what the moment that I am will bring! A phone call, a fall, a visit, etc… and if we are going to work, like the ants that we are, it is also to eat!

You are right
It is not a question of being right, it does not bring anything, it is simply life that is like that, winning or losing, it's a game!
