Do not omit the infamous role of the monotheistic religions which have elevated man above the animal kingdom, wrongly, and who have decreed that God (call it whatever you like) had created us in his image. Therefore, how can we be surprised that we allowed EVERYTHING towards nature and its creatures ...
Weird conception of monotheism.
a) the human is not and has never been raised above the animal
b) humans were not created in the image of the creator of life.
c) he was never allowed to do what he wanted with nature and his creatures, but the reverse. Hence the non-consumption of the flesh of other creatures precisely.

Ahmed wrote:The ideology aims to create a positive synergy between our action on the world and what justifies it ... Religion has disappeared (at least here), but has been replaced, quite logically, by that of "progress".
In the words Marx: "The infrastructure determines the superstructure."

Yes, but this notion of the superior man was first engendered by religions and then endorsed by science which recovered the concept for its benefit. Let us not forget that many scientists believe and that most "captains of industry" are believers too.

Theoretical blablabla that reality has swept away with its hands over more than 2000 years. I was talking about the perversion of words, the dogmas also perverted the original messages, if they ever existed. The only religions which consider nature as sacred are the so-called animist religions and certain polytheists.

Yes, Guy, but it's essentially a question of chronological stage within a process ... Okay for your remark concerning animist religions and religions very polytheists ...
Janic, we didn't have to read the same bible ... : Mrgreen:

You're a big draw .... It is well known that all monotheistic religions prohibit the consumption of flesh in accordance with c) of Janic.

Well then: submit or dominate the Earth ... suddenly I hope God is proud of us !!

This explains the silence of the Vatican and religions on the fight against global warming ... but that changes a little ...

You're right to introduce a little parity ... it's true that it lacks a little on this forum : Wink:
