Life-time-death is an inseparable whole. We cannot escape these three concomitant and complicit entities which determine all living phenomena. Because if time seems to us a terrible devourer of lives, it is at the same time its great supplier. (Francois Cheng)

Antonio Gramsci noted this, which is to be meditated on, especially given current attempts to promote a largely mythical ancient world:
"the old world is dying, the new is slow to appear; and it is in this chiaroscuro that the monsters appear ”.

Ah yes, well seen. Keen sight - he did not stay in the chiaroscuro!

I post it here:

Faced with the somewhat maddening observation of the time we have left to live, which we can visualize thanks to a small tool circulating on the Internet, Léo Grasset of DirtyBiology encourages us to overcome fatality and to enjoy our life in a funny and inspiring video.

A sheet of A4 paper filled with small squares depicting our life. For some time now, these grids have been popping up on the internet: ninety lines for ninety years of life, made up of fifty-two boxes, each equivalent to a week. The first square at the top left represents our birth, the last, at the bottom right, our death. This projection would allow us to visualize our past time and the time we have left. And therefore to realize that the moments we live are precious. But faced with the somewhat depressing observation of having reached the last 10% of his relationship with his living parents and that he only has fourteen football world cups left to live, Léo Grasset, from the DirtyBiology channel, pushes the analysis further than just demoralizing grid filling.

Thanks to a study on the feelings of patients during a colonoscopy (yes, yes), the videographer makes us understand that the brain perceives time subjectively. The life grid therefore does not represent the way in which we personally go through our existence. He claims that we have the power to change its shape, especially the size of the squares, by creating colorful memories that would expand our perception of time. Because "the worst that could happen is to have had a funny life at the end".

we can also say that the human thinks he is the only animal that thinks.
