This Wednesday, LVMH agreed to sign, in all discretion, a judicial agreement with the Paris prosecutor's office, agreeing to pay a negotiated fine of 10 million euros in the Squarcini affair. Bernard Squarcini, Bernard Arnault's "security man", is suspected of having spied on François Ruffin.
François Ruffin, at the time a journalist, made the documentary film Merci Patron! released in 2016 where he ridiculed LVMH and Bernard Arnault. In retaliation, François was monitored for 3 years. Through his "deal" with justice, the world leader in luxury escapes trial. Interview.
