Each year, ADEME establish and update databases from information provided by UTAC and auxiliary Automobile Association.
These data on both emissions and consumptions of registered passenger cars and sold in France, as well as the technical features of these vehicles.
This document presents the key figures on the evolution of the French automotive market, emissions and fuel consumption of vehicles. A third part is devoted to the technological development of vehicles and its influence on fuel consumption.
