In 2002 in France, 9.513 deaths were attributed to exposure in urban areas to fine particles from human activities (industries, automobiles, heating, etc.), this is one of the information present in two separate reports on the health impact of atmospheric pollution just published by the French environmental health security agency (afsse) after eight months of studies.
