The data presented apply to the geographical, temporal and sectoral fields defined specifically in this context and may therefore differ from those corresponding to other definitions established under other conventions such as for example that relating to long-distance transboundary pollution. .
The permanent efforts to increase the reliability of inventories lead to regularly carrying out various investigations to improve the estimation methods and the data used, to integrate statistical revisions and, in general, to take into account
improving knowledge. This report incorporates actual changes and progress to date. Some estimates may therefore differ significantly from those produced previously.
