Biofuel: oils based on micro-algae

Publication of an article (by David Lefebvre) about this very promising path on biofuels.

Selected pieces:

- one hectare of algae could produce 30 to 120 times more oil than one hectare of rapeseed or sunflower.
- (The) technique allows, in sunny weather, to recycle up to 82% of the CO2 contained in the fumes from power plants.
- Regarding production costs, the Americans announce profitability from a price per barrel of 19 to 57 dollars. Individual algae solar panels are also being studied for farmers.
