Hydrogen energy continues to develop

Whether for its production, transport or storage, hydrogen is a very promising research subject. The applications are developing but some will not really be marketed for 15 or 20 years.

Since the rise of the hydrogen rocket engine during the second half of the XNUMXth century, hydrogen has continued to attract research and in a current context of global warming and expensive and limited fossil fuels, its properties are appreciated. Hydrogen energy is being studied more than ever from all angles.

Non-toxic gas whose combustion is very energetic, hydrogen does not exist in the free state in nature but only in the combined state in water and hydrocarbons for example. It is interesting in the sense that it makes it possible to produce heat by direct combustion but also to produce electricity in fuel cells (PAC), with the only residue of water.
